First and foremost I would like to thank you for taking your time out to browse my page. Born and raised in New Jersey I found myself pledging Iota Phi Theta in the summer of 1997, #2 S.O.S. (email me if you want to know what it stands for.) Why Iota? Well after researching through the National Pan Hellenic Council, even though there are more organizations out there, I found myself gravitating towards the organization that I mostly identified myself with. I noticed that the Iotas were about "Building Traditions and not Resting Upon One." They also were not affiliated with any stereotypes. I observed all the tribulations that they were going through and the disrespect they were recieving through the other organizations and I admired the way that they handled themselves and demanded their respect through the way they carried themselves and not through physical confrontations. I also noticed the importance of education while I saw other organizations diminish but not through graduation. Something I can say that I never regreted doing is becoming a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.... | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Here I am after representing Iota Phi Theta at a step show. Did we win? Well winning is not as important as representing your organization to the best of your ability. If your not doing it to the best of your ability and trying to do it with perfection then you should not even waist your time. Something I learned in life was: Piss Poor Practice Promotes Piss Poor Performance, Piss Poor Performance Promotes Pain. Meaning that if you practice poorly then you perform poorly and the only one you are hurting is yourself.... ...By the way.....We won! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
